Mark D. Squire, serves as Senior Enginer for Special Projects at SureFire LLC. Squire has over 30 years of extensive experience with DOD, DARPA and commercial program management ranging from infrared high-speed missile tracking systems to anti-submarine warfare sensors and IED detection robotics. Squire’s research, development and implementation career spans electro-optic systems, space hardware, acoustics, robotics, weapon mounted sensor systems and oil-field downhole sensing including management of complex technology programs.
Squire has extensive experience in both digital and analog design including: high temperature electronics, space qualified and radiation tolerant electronics and optics, military sonobuoy hardware and low rate production, adaptive optics using guide star technologies, high speed electro-optics and feedback control systems.
Squire holds multiple patents in varied electronics, mechanics and electro-optics fields and has also published in these fields. He holds a B.S. in Electronics Engineering from Chapman University and is an alumnus of the Electrical Engineering / Computer Science Program (EECS) at University of California, San Diego.
